Description

The Mole Sisters are on their way home when it starts to snow. What fun! They stop to build snow moles, then continue on their way, only to realize they are lost. Seeking shelter inside a cave, the Mole Sisters hang with the bats and marvel at the stunning stalactites. They come across primitive cave paintings and gleefully discover themselves depicted in the scene. How perfect. They continue on, softly home.

Reviews

Theres simply nothing not to love about the mole sisters . . . one of (two of) the very, very best things happening in books for very small children today.

- The Globe and Mail

Enigmatic and funny ... these seemingly simple stories have richness, complexity and, best of all, absolute good cheer.

- Toronto Star

Those wonderfully adventurous sisters are back for . . . more adventures sure to delight both preschoolers and their parents . . . The mole sisters are imaginative, playful, and inquisitive-as always!

- BC Parent

The intimacy of the small, square books is enhanced by the much smaller colored-pencil illustrations and the brief but immediate texts.

- Horn Book

These are excellent books to add to a public library or school library collection. Schwartz has created books that are wonderful and will delight both children and adults . . . Young readers will have no problem entering into the Mole Sisters world which is always filled with optimism, adventure and fun.
